This is just one example of black nickel on top of zinc. Black nickel can be plated on copper, brass, bronze, nickel, replica chrome, stainless steel, zinc and tin.

The Black Nickel plating kit is Ideal for DIY enthusiasts, car or motorcycle restorers. 
With this kit you will get a black chrome like finish or dark black finish depending on the base metal. 
For the black chrome like finish it should be plated on top of our replica chrome, bright nickel, polished copper, polished brass and polished stainless steel.
For a darker black finish it should be plaed onto freshly plated zinc or zinc/nickel.

The kit is easy to use and gives outstanding results.  Setting up and getting started is easy, the plating process is very quick with a typical black nickel coating taking about 2 minutes. 

This kit comes with a Black Nickel electroplating guide. This detailed guide contains all the information you need to get great results.

There is also no need for an expensive power supply as we will show you how to use a 12v car battery or battery charger in conjunction with our current controller.

With this kit you can black nickel plate numerous items. Exactly how many is hard to say as it depends on the thickness of the plating but you should be able to plate hundreds of small items.
