GP De-Oxidiser and De-Smut

 

GP deox and desmut is specially formulated to mix in water and produce a fast acting balanced nitric acid based de-oxidiser and de-smutting solution. Its main use is to remove oxides and smuts from aluminium and aluminium alloys prior to anodising and after the stripping and etching operation. It can also be used as a metal etch and for removing oxides etc.

It can be used at ambient temperature and will make up between 4 and 5 litres.

De-smutting takes 1-5 minutes and de-oxidising takes 1-10 minutes.

it is economical to use and has a long effective bath life.
