Safety is incredibly important. Be very careful when using any part of our kits.

If you are unsure about any of the instructions provided please get in contact with us as failure to follow the instructions may result in damage to yourself and permanent failure of the kit.

Always wear PPE (personal protection equipment) supplied with the kit. Read the instructions carefully. Keep this document for future reference. Follow all warnings and instructions in this guide and contained in the safety data sheets which are available on this page. Observe the following guidelines when using the kit and connecting and disconnecting power.

  • Wire the tank as per the sections below before turning on any power source.
  • Turn off the power before removing any parts from the plating tank.
  • Use and store the mixed electrolyte and kit on a table or flat‚ stable surface‚ ensuring that the container cannot fall and is level.
  • Use in a well–ventilated area.
  • Keep out of reach of young children.

Chemical Disposal

Read the safety data sheets (which can be found on our website) to ensure you know the classification of each chemical. Chemical residues are generally classed as special waste and as such are covered by regulations that vary from region to region. Contact your local waste disposal authority or pass to a chemical disposal company.
