They are cut from a high purity, C106 grade phosphorous deoxidised copper sheet. This will give enough to plate approximately 15,000 cm^2 at a thickness of 25 microns. They are pre-drilled and ready for use.

For copper electroforming or plating, the minimum amount of copper sludge is formed when using an anode to cathode ratio of 1:1 - 2:1. Below a 1:1 ratio when the surface area of the item is larger than the surface area of immersed anode, the anode film that is formed will become passive. This leads to a break in the circuit due to no current being able to pass through the passive film. Clean the anodes if this happens.
