GP Jewellery Pickle salts are an off-white, natural acid salt that, when mixed with distilled water, produce a balanced acidic solution with applications in a wide variety of metal finishing operations. It is primarily used as an acid cleaner/activator on jewellery after heat treatment and oxidisation.

GP Jewellery Pickle salts are economical to use, giving a long effective bath life with a reduction in maintenance periods. As the product is a powder, the salts are safe to use and store. They can be used at ambient or elevated temperature.

It can also be used prior to electroplating/electroforming to activate the metal; these include steel, zinc, copper, silver, aluminium, and various other alloys.

These salts should be mixed with 1L of warm water to make the pickle solution. To make more, use at 100g/L.

The salts can be used to:

- Remove oxide from the surface of: copper, brass, bronze, silver, gold, nickel

- Reactivate the surface of metal prior to electroplating/electroforming
