Based upon the same principles and chemicals used in industrial electroplating systems, our tank plating kits are ideal for almost all objects and can give a wide range of finishes.
Our kits are capable of plating onto various metals including steel, iron, brass, copper and more. If you would like to plate onto aluminium and it’s alloys, check out the GP Allyseal Zincate for further information.
If you are not sure which kit is right for you check out our FAQs & Help page or drop us a line!
We have three basic kit types: 5L, 10L and Ultimate. Our 5L and 10L kit contain the chemicals, electrical connectors, safety equipment and guides to set up basic pre-plating, plating and post-plating tanks. Our Ultimate kits comes with extra accessories for larger volume systems. All kits have the option to add a digital power supply; the PS201ADJT.

The workshop is a single session on the 26th of April and will take 4 hours. It will begin with an outline of what we will cover and safety followed by preparing parts. These parts will go into the plating tank. While they are being covered with metal, we will go into detail on our kits; how to mix the chemicals, how to set up the electrical circuit and what the crucial settings are. We will move onto the plating process with plenty of do's and dont's so that you will have the confidence to do it yourself. Finally, we will admire and clean up the parts you started off at the beginning of the workshop, reflecting on the process as a whole (there will be coffee/tea and biscuit breaks too!). There will a 10% discount available on items purchased on the day.
To cancel or reschedule please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment time.
